I grew up spending a lot of time listening to music and watching famous performances on YouTube from the likes of Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. I used to dance and sing along to Jackson 5 music and film myself doing so on my Mums old MacBook. From around 6 years old, I started teaching myself to play piano and would perform in primary school assemblies from time to time. I started writing lyrics a few years later and once I stumbled across GarageBand; I learnt how to record them too. From age 14 to 17 I started releasing music on Soundcloud and gained a few thousand listeners. Fast forward to 2020 when covid hit, I spent the first few months of Lockdown recording an Album (Spaceship) from home. I recorded and released a 14 track project using Distrokid. This Project ended up being what caught the attention of 2kManagement and a few other companies. I signed to 2k in 2021 when I was 17 and it seemed like this was about to be my big break. I was travelling to London and having sessions with some of the biggest UK producers such as Relyt and working with some successful artists such as Lotto Boyz. Unfortunateley, the momentum slowed down over a few months and my manager left the company. Now I’m kind of doing it myself alongside a few friends helping me out! Let’s see what happens next I suppose.
